3 Days Fes To Merzouga Via Todra Gorge Desert Tour To Erg Chebbi

Day 1 : Fes – Medilt – Azrou – Imilchil -Todra Gorges 

Leaving Fez in the morning, passing through Ifrane to arrive to the cedar forests of Azrou where the wild monkeys are located. It will be good opportunity to take photos of the wilderness in Morocco. Lunch in the small Berber village of Zaida. We continue the way through the Atlas Mountains enjoying the landscapes of Midelt to arrive in the small town of Rich. Here, we turn right to pass through the famous town of Imilchil before arriving at Todra Gorges where we’ll spend the night in a hotel.

Day 2 : Todra Gorges – Tenghir – Tinjdad – Rissani – Erfoud – Merzouga (Night In Desert) : 

After breakfast, we say good bye to Todra gorges on the way to the Sahara desert of Merzouga / Erg Chebbi. Berber villages are scattered along the way. We’ll pass through Tinjdad, Jorf and Erfoud in which we’ll feel the beginning of the Saharan oasis of Tafilalet. Lunch in Rissani, and then continue to Merzouga,where we’ll find our camels waiting for us for the camel trekking in the dunes of Erg Chebbi,  which are considered  the highest ones in North Africa. It is a great experience to imagine yourself riding a camel in Erg Chebbi where the silence of the desert is dominant.Dinner is served under a Berber tent if it is cold and in the open air if it is hot. Your camel man will do his best to make you enjoy your camel trekking experience with a fire and Berber drums.

Day 3 : Erg Chebbi Desert – (Merzouga) – Ziz Valley – Medilt – Ifrane – Fes :

When you arrive from the camel trekking, you’ll have breakfast and take a shower. We’ll start the trip back to Fez. We’ll take the national route 13 passing through Ziz Valley in Errachidia. We change the route in Zaida to go through Boumalne to arrive in Fez. We’ll leave you at your riad wishing you good continuation.
