Itinerary
1st Day: Casablanca – Transfer to the hotel
Upon arrival at the airport of Casablanca Mohammed V, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Our representative will provide a brief overview of your tour.
2nd Day: Casablanca – Rabat – Meknes – Volubilis – Fes
In the morning after breakfast. we will start our tour via Rabat, we will visit the Old Kasbah of Udayas and Hassan Tower, Meknes another important imperial city in Morocco. We will also visit the famous gate Bab El Mansour, the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum and the Sahrij Souani Bassin. After Our lunch, our Adventure continues to Volubilis or Walili in Berber is a partly excavated Berber and Roman city in Morocco situated near the city of Meknes and commonly considered as the ancient capital of the Kingdom of Mauretania. it developed from the 3rd century BC. After visiting the ruins Volubilis, we will continue to Fez. Overnight in a hotel or Riad.
3rd Day: Full Day To Visit Fes
After breakfast, you will begin your visit to Fes “the oldest living Medina in the world” with a local official tour guide. You will tour the Medina with its “souks” (markets), stopping at the gateway of the Royal Palace, the 9th-centuryKarouine mosque and University. You will visit also the tomb of the city founder “Moulay Idriss II”. Lunch will be at one of the traditional restaurants in the old Medina. After lunch, you will continue your tour to visit the Najarine Fountain, the old Harem Garden and the Batha Museum. On the way back to the hotel, you will stop to enjoy a panoramic view of the city.
4th Day: Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen – Fes
After breakfast in your Riad or Hotel. We will start your day trip toward Chefchaouen (the blue city) which is a Morocco popular tourist attraction and welcoming town situated in the Rif Mountains just south of the Mediterranean coastline in northwest Morocco. This nice bleu city is known for its traditional buildings. Enjoy a walk to explore the white and blue washed walls of the medina and the markets that offer some unique native handicrafts. Chefchaouen is a fantastic destination for photography with its wonderful views of the Rif Mountains. Back to Fez in the afternoon. Expected to get to Fez around 07:00 PM.
5th Day: Fes – Azrou – Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast in your riad, you will leave towards the southeast following the Caravan roads to Merzouga. During this journey, you’ll experience glimpses of the Middle Atlas and Higher Atlas mountains. Stopping at the Cedar forest, the largest one in Morocco, over the Middle Atlas Mountains– where you may well sight Barbarian apes. After lunch in Midelt, you will continue through the large open high desert, and notice how the scenery changes to reveal hints of the desert as you approach the city Er Rachidia. Your journey continues along the luxuriant Ziz Valley and the Tafilalet date palm grove You’ll arrive at Merzouga at the end of the afternoon – to be welcomed with a glass of mint tea before you check in to your riad near dunes.
6th Day: Merzouga – Camel trek and overnight in Berber tent
After breakfast in the riad, you will start an explorative journey of the area. You’ll visit the Gnawa people – originally slaves brought from Sudan -to experience their music and lifestyle. Not far away there’s the lake of Merzouga, with its bird populations. You may also visit the souk in Rissani, a traditional town which was the origin of the ruling family in Morocco and the meeting place of the Caravans trading as far as Tombuctou in Mali. Here you will see a lot of men hooded and women veiled. Back to the village of Merzouga for some rest, in the afternoon you will mount your camel, guided by an experienced camel man to explore within the sand-sea of Merzouga. Overnight will be in a traditional Berber nomad tent. Dinner will be served in the tent where you will spend the night. Dinner Bed and Breakfast.
7th day: Merzouga – Errissani – Todra Gorges – Dades – Ouarzazate
After breakfast in the hotel, we’ll drive through the Dades Valley towards Kalaa M’gouna and Ouarzazat. The route through Dades Valley is the way of the thousand kasbahs – providing numerous opportunities to take some of your best photographic shots of the trip. We’ll stop at Kalaa Mgouna, “the rose city”, to purchase the rosewater, which will make your linen smell good a long time after your trip is over. Continue to Skoura and the birds valley; visit the Kasbah Ameridil, a well-preserved kasbah in this area. After lunch, you will have some time for hiking within the valley and then continue to Ouarzazate – “the Hollywood of Africa”- whose geography and beautiful landscapes have attracted many world-class movie producers. Overnight accommodation will be in the riad.
8th Day: Ouarzazate – Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou – Taroudant
After breakfast in your riad, we’ll head to Taroudant via Taznakht, visiting Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco. Built during the beginning of the XXth Century by T-Hami El Glaoui -one of the last Berber chieftains -Ben Haddou Kasbah used to be one of his stops during his long travel from the sub-Saharan countries to Marrakech and is now a UNESCO world heritage site. On to Taliouine, the capital of saffron in Morocco, you have the option to visit the Safran co-operative. If your visit coincides with the saffron harvest, you will have the opportunity to meet the Berber people with their families harvesting the saffron in their fields. We should arrive at Taroudant in the afternoon, here you will see the ramparts and walk within the small alleys in the Medina. Taroudant is always referred to as “The little Marrakech” because it was the built by the Saadian dynasty who used it as their capital before they moved to Marrakech in the 16th century.
9th Day: Taroudant – Agadir – Essaouira
Breakfast in the riad, and then head for Essaouira, traveling via Agadir. Our first stop will be at Agadir, a resort city which was a very big tourist destination for many years. After lunch and a small walk along the Promenade, you will continue to Essaouira. The coastal road offers beautiful scenery, an area famous for the Argan trees. Here you will see herds of goats climbing the Argan trees looking for better food than they can find on the ground. After several stops along the coast, we get to Essaouira in the afternoon. Overnight accommodation at a riad in the Medina.
10th Day: Exploring Essaouira
After Breakfast at the hotel in Essaouira, then start our explorative journey of the city. You’ll visit the Skala Fortress; see Thuya wood carved by artisans; walk through the alleys of the medina and view hundreds of handicrafts. Today you will have lunch in a Moroccan way, freshly bought fishes ‘cooked to order’. In the afternoon, you will have some free time to wander around, go to the beach and enjoy time to yourselves. Essaouira is also referred to as the “City of the Wind” and it attracts surfers from all over the world. Essaouira knew many civilizations – including the Portuguese occupation, which affects much of its architecture – however, it remains a small village with much history. Because of its size and its characteristic blue doors and washed walls, it is also regarded as Morocco’s “Jewel of the Atlantic”. There is an annual festival of “Gnawa music”, where many musical groups come from different parts of Africa and the world. Usually, it starts in the second week of June.
11th Day: Essaouira – Marrakech
After breakfast in your riad, you will have some free time before leaving for Marrakech. On our way – since this is the land of Argan culture – this is an opportunity to visit the women’s co-operative of Argan oil where they extract the oil that is famous for its culinary, cosmetic and medical properties. After several stops to take photographs, you will continue your travel to Marrakech and check in to your riad. After dinner, you will have the option to enjoy walking within the famous square of Jemaa El Fna, entertained with magicians, storytellers, musicians, and snake charmers.
12th Day: Full Day To Visit Marrakech
A full-day tour of Marrakech, visit the Menara, a surrounded pool by flowerbeds that function as an irrigation system for the surrounded fields. The sightseeing tour will cover several impressive sights: The Koutoubia mosque, Majorelle Gardens, Bahia Palace and Dar Si Said Palace museum of jewelry. Optional lunch will be in the medina followed by a walk through the colorful souks of Marrakech. Enjoy a sunset drink overlooking the exciting Jamaa El Fna Square from a terrace of a cafe, dinner and night at the hotel.
13th Day: Marrakech – Ouzoud Waterfalls – Atlas Mountains – Marrakech
One day trip from Marrakech to Ouzoud Waterfalls starting from Marrakech in the morning to Ouzoud Waterfalls, this site is located about 170 km from Marrakech, northeast of the city, you will discover the beautiful waterfalls of about 110 m high and a beautiful landscape full of birds and monkeys. You will discover the magnificent waterfalls about 110 m of height and a wonderful landscape populated with birds and monkeys on the arrrival if you like you can negotiate the services of a local guide to make walks or hikes at a height of 1068m .
14th Day : Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ourika Valley – Marrakech
One day trip from Marrakech to Ourika Valley start in the morning departure from Marrakech to Ourika Valley, the easiest, closest and thus one of the most popular day trips from Marrakech. On our Ourika day trip, you’ll travel on a private tour with your own vehicle, driver, and guide. To achieve a truly authentic Ourika Valley experience we aim to avoid the typical tourist traps and focus on real Berber village life, exploring local trails on foot far away from the fleets of tour buses….We will come back to Marrakech in the evening.
15th Day : Marrakech – Aiport
Transfert to the airport (Marrakech or Casablanca), end of the 15-day tour from Casablanca.
