Un recorrido de 3 días de Marrakech al desierto del Sahara, pasando por el Alto Atlas y las dunas de Erg Chebbi, es una experiencia increíble que combina paisajes montañosos, aldeas bereberes y la majestuosidad del desierto. A continuación te dejo una sugerencia de itinerario para tu viaje:

Itinerary
Día 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhadou – Ouarzazate – Gargantas de Todra. 360 km
Salida de Marrakech viajando por las montañas del Atlas, cruzamos Tizi n’Tichka (2260 m) la mayor carretera de montaña que pasa por Marruecos, disfrutamos de las espectaculares vistas de los alrededores incluyendo la carretera en zig-zag. Camino a Ouarzazate visitamos las famosas Kasbahs de la ciudad fortificada de Aït Benhaddou. Continuamos camino y cruzamos Ouarzazate; disfrutamos de la belleza del valle de las rosas; Kellat Mgouna, dejamos la carretera principal y nos dirigimos al valle de Dades, lo visitamos y después continuamos a través de la pequeña ciudad de Tinghir hacia la majestuosidad de las gargantas de Todra. Noche en el hotel.
Día 2: Gargantas de Todra – Erfoud – Merzouga – Erg Chebbi. 270 km
Después de desayunar en el hotel, visitamos las gargantas de Todra y después nos encaminamos a Merzouga cruzando varias ciudades hermosas del desierto: Tinjadad, Erfoud y Rissani. Llegada a Merzouga. Nos preparamos para la excursión en camello de Merzouga a Erg Chebbi (2 horas), noche en un campamento nómada en el corazón de las dunas más altas de Marruecos (250 m), posibilidad de ver la puesta de sol. Cena beréber, quizá una pequeña fiesta y tambores. Puedes escoger entre dormir bajo las estrellas o en tiendas nómadas en nuestro campamento del desierto.
Día 3: Merzouga – Rissani – N’Kob – Agdez – Ouarzazate – Marrakech
Nos levantamos temprano para ver el espectáculo del amanecer sobre las dunas del Sáhara antes de regresar al hotel para desayunar y ducharnos. Cruzaremos Rissani, la antigua capital de Marruecos. El trayecto nos llevará por los pueblos beréberes de Alnif y N’Kob y por el valle de Draa hasta Agdez. Continuaremos a Ouarzazate, donde comeremos y visitaremos la Kasbah de Taourirt. Regresaremos a Marrakech por las altas montañas del Atlas para llegar temprano por la tarde.

It was an amazing experience with Sahara Gate Tours. The treatment was fabulous, attentive all the time, good quantity and quality of food that they cooked with professionalism, in fact the best tagine we have eaten in Morocco. The camp is comfortable, each person or couple with their tent and the beds are very comfortable. The ride with the camels through the desert with photos at sunset of the best experience in Morocco. Without a doubt highly recommended.

Can’t say enough about how much we loved our trip to Morocco in big thanks to Moha. We traveled with our 3 kids aged 6, 8, 10 and they all were in love with Moha at the end. My daughter turned 10 on the trip and he bought all the kids presents! He even was able to get a cake for my daughter with her name on it….in the Sahara desert! Superb communication, very safe driving. He listened to what we wanted to do and was very accommodating. Will definitely recommend this tour company to others. Truly, could not have been better in every way.
