Overview
3 Days Marrakech To Fes Desert Tour includes visits to ancient communities, Kasbahs, and breathtaking panoramas of the Atlas Mountains, as well as Azrou Ceder Forest and palm groves in the Ziz valley River . It is also an opportunity to go on a camel journey and spend the night in a desert camp beneath the stars in the Erg Chebbi dunes. Tour Plan
Day One: Fez – Ifrane – Midelt – Ziz Gorges – Erfoud – Rissani – Merzouga
After an early breakfast, you will begin your ascent across the Middle Atlas Mountains. Most of the day will be spent winding your way through the beautiful forests, jagged rock faces, and Berber villages as you cross the Atlas Mountains and begin to descend towards the Sahara Desert. Halfway, you will stop for lunch in the town of Midelt, famous for its fossils and rocks. On arrival at the Kasbah in Merzouga, a hot shower or dip in the swimming pool (depending on the weather) will be a treat after the drive. then Overnight in a hotel nearby the sand dunes of Erg Chabbi
Day Two: Merzouga – Desert Adventure and Camel Trekking
Here in the Sahara desert of Erg Chebbi, our adventure will start at 11:00 or earlier and go on a drive throughout the sand dunes. While driving on these fabulous landscapes we will see plenty of nomadic black tents in the middle of nowhere. We shall stop by a nomadic family to have tea and see what a nonadic life looks like. We dive to discover the nomadic life of Berber people and visiting khamlia, a village where nothing has been changed through centuries. Either we lunch here in khamlia village or we go back to our hotel and lunch there. After a nape, we go on a camel ride to meet one of the most fascinating sights we will ever see, the superb sunset in the middle of the high sand dunes of Merzouga. Overnight in Berber camp under stars to enjoy a wonderful Sahara sky.
Day Tree: Merzouga – Midelt – Ifrane – Fez
We will wake up early to enjoy a magnificent sunrise on the dunes then take a camel ride back to the hotel. After freshening up and breakfast we’ll leave for Fez. We will travel via the Ziz Valley and the Middle Atlas mountains as we depart the desert region to Fes. We will drive through the cedar forests of Azrou and stop to hand feed the monkeys. We will continue via Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco’ to arrive early evening to Fes. End Of our service.
