Today\u2019s tour site seeing depends on the time of your arrival. If time permits we can explore a handful of Casablanca\u2019s tourist sites, such as the Hassan II Mosque, Probably you will have overnight in Rabat<\/p>\n<p>Day 2: Casablanca \u2013 Meknes \u2013 Volubilis \u2013 Fes<\/p>\n<p>This morning we can complete Casablanca\u2019s tourist sites that time didn\u2019t permit on Day 1. Then after lunch in the city, we\u2019ll drive to Meknes, a former imperial city, surrounded by one of Morocco\u2019s main wine regions. Following a brief stop in Meknes, we will drive to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. You will have time to explore the ruins and mosaics on your own or possibly engage a local guide for a more immersive experience. Then we will continue to Fes where we spend the night at a local riad \/hotel.<\/p>\n<p>Day 3: Exploring Fes \u2013 guided tour of the city<\/p>\n<p>Today will be devoted to sightseeing Fes, Morocco\u2019s spiritual capital. This will consist of visiting the following places: the Medieval Medina, the Nejjarine fountain, the Moulay Idriss mausoleum and the Karaouine Mosque (external visits only). You\u2019ll be offered the choice of having lunch at a traditional restaurant in the heart of Medina then, after a late afternoon visit to the souks and Fes Jdid (New Fes), you\u2019ll be returned to your hotel.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 4: FES \u2013 IFRANE \u2013 MIDELT \u2013 ERFOUD \u2013 RISSANI \u2013 MERZOUGA DESERT<\/p>\n<p>We will drive towards Ifrane today after breakfast. Ifrane is known as \u2018the Switzerland of Morocco\u2019. We will continue to Midelt and then we pass along the Ziz Valley to reach the city of Erfoud. Erfoud is very famous for its local fossil products. The option to stop and learn more about the region and fossils is also possible. After Erfoud, we head to the ancient market town of Rissani to explore its souk. Tonight the journey finishes in Merzouga where we stay in the hotel on the edge of the desert dunes.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 5: MERZOUGA DESERT AND CAMEL TREK TO DESERT CAMP<\/p>\n<p>After breakfast today, we\u2019ll drive to a checkpoint in the Merzouga desert. Upon arrival there we\u2019ll trade in our 4\u00d74 for camels (optional). Then lead by an experienced camel guide, and explore the region of Erg Chebbi. It\u2019ll take around 90 minutes to reach the campsite. Once there, we\u2019ll enjoy a beautiful sunset over the dunes. Then after dark, our dinner will be served around a campfire. This night will be spent in traditional Berber tents under the desert sky.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 6: MERZOUGA DESERT \u2013 TODRA GORGES \u2013 DADES GORGES<\/p>\n<p>This morning we\u2019re up early, to catch the sunrise over the dunes, before arriving at a local hotel to freshen up and have breakfast. Then we\u2019ll head through Rissani and Tinghir to Todra Gorge; the highest and narrowest gorge in Morocco. After lunch at the Gorge, we\u2019ll drive through the Dades Valley. We\u2019ll stop to enjoy the view of the geological feature known locally as \u201cMonkey Toes\u201d. Tonight we stay overnight in Dades valley.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 7: DADES GORGES \u2013 OUARZAZATE \u2013\u00a0 UNESCO world heritage site -AIT BEN HADDOU \u2013 MARRAKECH<\/p>\n<p>Your private tour continues today with a drive towards Kalaat Mgouna and Ouarzazate, recognized as \u201cthe African Hollywood\u201d. Here, we may visit the local film studio and Kasbah (Fortress). We\u2019ll then head to Ait Ben Haddou, to visit the local Kasbah, the largest Kasbah in Morocco and a UNESCO world heritage site. We\u2019ll continue over the High Atlas Mountains until we reach Marrakech where we\u2019ll spend the night.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 8: MARRAKECH GUIDED TOUR<\/p>\n<p>Today iyou will have full Day\u00a0 tour in Marrakech. where You will explore the main attractions and monuments of the city including the famous Jamma el Fna Square, Koutoubia Mosque, the souks, palaces, and museums. We\u2019ll also explore parts of the city such as Gueliz,\u00a0 and the Majorelle Museum. Time for\u00a0 lunch and perhaps a hammam \u2013 or both for relaxing\u00a0 at your Marrakech hotel\/riad.<\/p>\n<p>DAY 9: MARRAKECH \u2013 ESSAOUIRA (1-DAY TRIP)<\/p>\n<p>Today we\u2019ll have a Local guided tour of beautiful Essaouira Mogador , a historic city on the Atlantic coast with 18th-century ramparts called Skala de la Kasbah and a more relaxed Medina.
